Kris and Suzie are revealed to be the heroes of light, who team up with a prince named Ralsei in order to try and quench a fountain made of darkness. Things don’t quite go to plan, and the trio ends up running afoul of a wannabe villain named Lan
Maybe I’ve just been watching way too much of the Double Fine Adventure documentary lately , but I would love to see Tim Schafer somehow work with Suda51 on Travis Strikes Again . Personally, Schafer and Suda happen to be two of my favorite developers in the entire industry, and because of such, I’d love to see them work together purely for that reason. However, I also think there’s a lot of similarities between the two that many wouldn’t think of at fi
Elsewhere on the North American charts: SUPERHOT VR held onto the crown on the PS VR charts, while Dino Frontier debuted at No.8 and Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul debuted at No.2 As for the PS Vita chart, it welcomed Undertale to No.1, while the PS classics chart saw Destroy All Humans! 2 downloaded the m
When the fans visited the Twitter page today, they were given a link to a site called deltarune.com which contained a link to a brand new game — Deltarune — that is similar and yet different to Undert
As you may remember, last month the North American PS4 chart was topped by everyone’s favorite PlayStation mascot, Crash Bandicoot, with PS4 exclusive Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. However, this month the Bandicoot has slipped all the way to No. 11. In its place is EA’s Madden NFL 18, which debuted this month (August 25th) as it always d
It may have started last decade, but we would argue the indie scene was stronger than ever in this past one. Not only were more digital stores available, but Kickstarter also helped pave the way for new possibilities. There were so many great titles. Some of them made big splashes while others have yet to rise up. Let’s see how things turned
Deltarune has a lot of the same humor as Undertale and the characters are incredibly engaging. It would be easy to say that Deltarune is a retread of Undertale Achievements|Https://Undertalezone.Com/, but the characters and story are entertaining enough that you can forgive any similarit
Shovel Knight launched on PC, Wii U, and 3DS in 2014. It has since been ported to every console since. As of this December, it will have also released four different DLC expansions. There is also a new game, Shovel Knight Dig , which was announced earlier this y
Fez is the saddest entry on this list. The game released in 2012 for the Xbox 360. A sequel was announced by the creator, Phil Fish, just a year later in 2013. However, just a month after this June announcement around E3, he canceled the project because of a Twitter argument of all things. He also claimed he wanted to resign from the gaming pub
In 2015, Undertale launched on PC after a surprisingly successful Kickstarter campaign two years earlier. Immediately people caught wind that this was a very special sort of RPG. Since then, the game has made its way beyond PC to PS4 and PS Vita. As part of that move to consoles came six new physical editions produced by Fangamer. Spanning the PC, PS4 and PS Vita versions, it came in a Standard and Collector’s Edition. As might be expected, the Standard Edition at $25 offered a copy of the game itself. Plunking down $64 for the Collector’s Edition is where Fangamer’s talents at producing themed merchandise came into play.
While I doubt there will be any roguelike elements to any of the varying genres of the games within Travis Strikes Again , I think it’d be a really cool one for Suda51 to experiment with. If that were the case, I think Derek Yu could help bring a certain amount of charm and expertise to the genre, considering that Spelunky is quite possibly one of the best roguelike games of all t
Not all of the secret boss characters in the game are console exclusive. Anyone with a copy, be it PC, Playstation, or Switch, can find this next entry. You’ll need to find the Art Room in the Hotland region which then leads the player to bump into this artist monster, kicking off the fight with So So
Hard Mode is pretty short, lasting only till the end of the Ruins section. New monsters, as well as monsters from later in the game, can be encountered here, and there are numerous changes to how other elements in the game world work as well. It’s not for the faint of heart, although it is certainly an interesting experience for any who want a bit of a challe
The soundtrack comes with two discs. This means you’ve got access to the complete soundtrack (which is over 100 songs). A digital download is not included, but most Undertale megafans probably already have the soundtrack digitally to begin with. Why did the soundtrack come in a large case instead of typical CD case? That’s to make room for a sheet music booklet. It features some key song sheet music along with notes from Toby Fox. Although this was a cool gesture, the layout could use some work. For example, opening up one song on the first page does not continue on the second. Instead, it’s kind of like a newspaper layout where the song picks up again a few pages later. Suffice it to say that folks may have a hard time using the sheet music as designed to play their favorite tracks.
